FERTILIZER INDUSTRY INSTALLATIONS
The ability of Beco scrubbers to remove submicron dusts at ultra-low energy inputs of 2 to 3" W.C. was first demonstrated in the fertilizer industry in the 1970's. Since then, Beco has built a total of more than 4,000,000 CFM of fertilizer plant scrubber capacity, including single system flows of more than 450,000 ACFM.
Projects have included emission control for urea, ammonium nitrate and diammonium phosphate plants. Scrubber applications have included the full range of plant equipment, including prill towers, granulators, reactors, neutralizers, evaporators and concentrators. Partnerships with Prozap Engineering in Poland, Air Treatment Systems in Italy and others, have resulted in overseas installations in:
